Roatcap fire causes evacuations

A fire that started Wednesday in Montezuma County in Colorado has forced some evacuations.

The Roatcap fire is burning near Cortez.

20 homes have been evacuated and nearly one hundred homes are threatened.

Evacuees are being told to check in at the Montezuma County Sheriff's Office.

So far, the fire has burned approximately one hundred acres.

Crews are fighting the fire from the air and ground.
