In this week's Best Bites we're featuring a new restaurant - but you might already be familiar with some of the food and the family that runs it.

The Garduno family opened up Chile Rio on the I-25 frontage road near Montano about 4 months ago.

They're serving up items like tequila lime fajitas and their increasingly popular fish tacos.

For appeteizers there's the creamy queso blanco and one of everyone's favorites from Garduno's, the fresh, tableside guacamole.

"The food basically took the idea from bordertowns. We duplicated the streets tacos, we duplicated the hand held burritos, the basket burgers and we had a lot of fun doing it because there is so much creativity that could be made from these particular items," says Dave Garduno.

If you're looking for something sweet make sure you finish the meal off with fried ice cream or the tres leches cake.
