Rio Rancho officials delay pet shop issue further

Rio Rancho councilors continue to kick the pet shop debate can down the road.

Wednesday night city councilor's voted to postpone talks about the sale of certain animals in pet shops.

Under the current law the stores will have to stop selling cats and dogs within the following couple of years.

Some city councilors said the move could be bad for business.

The issue was also postponed last week.
