U.S. Senate candidates Republican Heather Wilson and Democrat Martin Heinrich faced off in a KOB Eyewitness News 4 sponsored debate Thursday evening.
Wilson and Heinrich are both vying for the Senate seat being left vacant by retiring veteran Sen. Jeff Bingaman.
Both candidates have served in the House of Representatives, and whichever candidate wins in the general election next month will assume the post January 2013.
