Two people are now facing charges after a double stabbing at a house party Friday night in southeast Albuquerque.

Alejandro Valdez is charged with aggravated battery and tampering with evidence. Police said Valdez - a gang member - used a box cutter to strike Charles Richards - a member of another gang.

Richards was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the other stabbing suspect is a juvenile who put someone in the hospital in critical condition.

Police also said the host of the party, Marisol Zamora, is facing child abuse charges.

Her six-year-old daughter and 17-year-old son were at the home during the party.
