Hundreds run in the Annual Great Pumpkin Chase

Hundreds of people took part in races to fight childhood obesity Sunday.
500 people went to Kit Carson Park near the zoo this morning for the 9th Annual Great Pumpkin Chase.
Participants could run in a 10k or 5k race. There was also a race for kids.
It was part of Run Fit - a program to fight child obesity.
The race director said the community is very supportive of the program.
