Domestic violence call sends police on manhunt

The Los Luceros and Moya area near Rio Grande Blvd and I-40 was shut down Sunday evening and police searched for a domestic violence suspect.

Albuquerque police told KOB Eyewitness News 4 the suspect ran on foot from the home where police were dispatched to around 5:00 p.m.

Roads in the area were closed as police secured a perimeter to aid in catching the man.

Our crew who was at the scene told us the man was arrested shortly after 6:00 p.m.

Police also confirmed he was arrested.

Police told us the man faces felony charges but were unable to tell us what specific charges he faces.

They also could not release the man's name.
