University of New Mexico quarterback Cole Gautsche did practice with the team on Monday afternoon.  Head coach Bob Davie upgraded Gautsche's status to probable for Saturday at UNLV.

Gautsche left last week's game in the first quarter after suffering a neck injury.  He was taken to the hospital, MRI results were negative.

Davie says Gautsche is currently the #2 quarterback on the depth chart this week behind junior college transfer Quinton McCown.

B.R. Holbrook is out 3-4 weeks with a separated shoulder he suffered against Fresno State.
