Ojo Encino man charged with shooting girlfriend

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged with shooting his girlfriend.
Permanuel Castillo faces two charges for the incident, which happened in September.
The shooting occurred in Ojo Encino, on the Native American reservation northwest of Albuquerque.
U.S. Attorneys said Castillo shot his girlfriend in the chest.
If convicted, Castillo faces a maximum of 10 years in prision for each of the two charges.
