Alleged serial robber indicted

Alleged serial robber Julio Francia, who eluded police for month, was formally accused in connection to a string of armed robberies Thursday.
Albuquerque police arrested Francia in connection to at least 17 robberies throughout the Albuquerque area. He's alleged to have struck several fast food restaurants.
He's faces charges including 21 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, attempted robbery and identify theft.
Francia remains behind bars at the county jail. A date for Francia's arraignment has not been set.
