The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office's investigation into a hit-and-run crash last week is ongoing.

A 13-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle on 4th Street around 5:00 a.m. Oct. 23.

The young boy suffered a broken leg in several places.

The driver fled the scene without stopped or helping the boy.

Deputies said the boy told them the car was a white Pontiac passenger car with dark tinted windows. The car should have a damaged or missing passenger side mirror.

The office is seeking any information regarding the incident. Anyone with information should call the department at (505) 468-7539.
