1st Congressional District hopefuls push campaigns in final stretch

The last weekend before election day has been a busy one for First Congressional District Candidates.
We caught up with Republican Janice Arnold-Jones Friday night attending a fundraiser for a broadcasting company. She was knocking on doors talking to voters during the day.
KOB Eyewitness News 4 asked the candidate why she would be a good advocate for women.
"In my day I have the rejection letter from the Air Force Academy because I was a woman. We needed to go and knock on those doors so my daughter could go to law school and do all the things that women should do," said Arnold-Jones.
We found Democrat Michelle Lujan Grisham thanking volunteers and supporters at a campaign office.
She was also calling voters.
We asked Lujan Grisham why she would be a good advocate for women.
"Clearly my experience being a woman, raising daughters and the Secretary of Health position gave me a pretty terrific opportunity to see the lack of access for comprehensive healthcare," she said.
