Clovis running back Kamal Cass rushed for 335 yards and 5 touchdowns in a 34-27 win over Carlsbad. Here are some more standout performances in high school football this week.
Cleveland's Romell Jordan rushed for over 250 yards and four scores in a 56-41 shootout win against Volcano Vista.
Rio Rancho quarterback Easton Bruere threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-21 win against Cibola.
Sandia's Craig Coffman threw for three touchdowns in a 42-34 win over Eldorado.
Las Cruces running back J.J. Grandados accounted for four touchdowns in a 50-0 shutout victory over Gadsden.
Santa Fe High quarterback Jordan Booth-Homer accounted for 190 all-purpose yards and three scores in a playoff-clinching 51-6 victory against Bernalillo.
McCurdy's backup quarterback Santiago Lovato accounted for five scores in a 54-46 win against Escalante.
