The Bernalillo County Council PTA clothing bank held its third annual 'Stuff a Bus' event at the Hinkle Family Fun Center.

They gathered dozens of bags and boxes full of clothing and stuffed them into a city bus.

One woman says they had so many donations they had to call for back up.

"It was an awesome year," Kim Kerschen, director of the clothing bank, said. "We were overwhelmed actually. We had one full bus and they had to call out another bus. The bus was so full we couldn't do anything. So, they called out a second bus and we filled that about a quarter full."

All of the donations go to school district students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

They're also hosting a pancake breakfast benefit in Nov. 17 at the Applebee's on Lomas. Tickets are $5.00
