A man accused of breaking into a business in northeast Albuquerque is the son of the former manager.

Police said Michael Gallegos broke into Abe's storage on Louisiana near Paseo del Norte.

The current manager arrived at work and found the front window screen and ceiling tiles in a storage room damaged, according to police.

Police said they determined the suspect's identity after reviewing surveillance video.

According to the criminal complaint, Gallegos and his mother used to live on the property, but were evicted.

Gallegos told police he was trying to move his mother's belongings. He faces charges for breaking and entering.
