The door knocking, phone calling and statewide travel is just about over for candidates for United States Senate.

Now it's time for the voters to decide.

Will it be former Congresswoman Heather Wilson or Congressman Martin Heinrich? Both hit the campaign trail hard Monday.

Wilson took jabs at Heinrich during a rally Monday. She asked people if they want four more years of Martin Heinrich. "Of more debt? More taxes? More spending? More waste and fewer jobs," Wilson said.

Congressman Heinrich told students and others at a rally at the University of New Mexico that he will not turn his back on students when it comes to Pell grants and student loans. After making some get out the vote phone calls later in the day Heinrich said, "I'm going to focus on the middle class and making our economy strong, but making sure we take care of the middle class first. Make sure that there is a path to the middle class for the working poor."

Congressman Heinrich said he will win the election if he gets the turnout numbers. Heather Wilson predicts she will win the election.
