U.S. Senator Tom Udall spoke to KOB reporter Chris Ramirez Tuesday night and discussed the future of New Mexico.

Udall was asked what he thought about the current senators leaving and bringing in new officials.

"What it means is that Martin Heinrich and I are going to have to get in there and work our tails off to get good committee assignments," Udall said.

KOB asked Udall about the biggest issues he'll face on behalf of New MExico.

"Well, I think the first thing I've heard is, I've been traveling New Mexico for six weeks listening to people. They want to see the economy growing again, they want to see jobs. You ask what are the three big issues, well they are jobs, jobs, jobs!," Udall said.
