Taos may be affected by smoke from prescribed burn

A prescribed burn may bring some smoke to the Taos area.

U.S. Forest Service officials started the Red Mesa burn last month.

Crews will burn 350 additional acres Wednesday and Thursday.

The fire is burning southwest of Tres Piedras.

the Forest Service said people may see smoke in Tres Piedra, Las Tablas, Petaca, and Taos.
