Eldorado high school's girls' soccer coach has resigned from his coaching position.

Wednesday night, he spoke to KOB Eyewitness News to clarify his reason.

The district has only said that coach Tom Hirschman was put on administrative leave for "inappropriate conduct and comments made by the coach."

Hirschman said that statement has caused imaginations and rumors to run wild.

Hirschman said there were a number of accusations against him, but only one was true.

He admitted to leading the team in a prayer when a player got injured on the field, which is against Albuquerque Public School policy.
