Popular sports bar to close

A lot of Albuquerque sports fans got some sad news this week.
The owner of "Coaches Sports Bar & Grill" at 1414 Central Avenue SE is closing up shop.
The owner of the popular sports bar told KOB the lease is up and they are moving on to other things.
"I don't know what we're going to do when it closes down," said bar patron Crystal Thomsen. "We'll find another place to go but it won't be the same. It's 'Cheers.' Seriously. We've sat in there and talked about it. This place is our 'Cheers.'"
The bar's owner did not tell us when the bar will close.
