UPDATE: State Police capture kidnapping suspect

Law enforcement officials had been asking the public to help find a man who was suspected of holding a woman hostage in Angel Fire. Now, they tell KOB Eyewitness News 4 they've found him and the woman.
Police were looking Joseph Rodriguez, 25, in the possible kidnapping of a woman.
At approximately 9:00 p.m. law enforcement officials caught Rodriguez in a duplex near his mother's home in Angel Fire.
They said they have also found the woman he's suspected of kidnapping. We're told she is okay. Police said they are working to determine her role in the incident.
Rodriguez was also wanted for eluding police and a parole violation in Taos County.
It all started Wednesday when police tried to pull Rodriguez over in Taos on warrants of fleeing and drunk driving.
He took off with two women inside his car, gave authorities the slip and then ran out of gas south of Angel Fire around Black Lake, officials said.
We're told Rodriguez took off with one woman - the other was found safe inside the car near a home.
The homeowner, who asked not to be identified, said he believes the two slept at his house Wednesday night.
"They spent the night in our house last night apparently," he said. "Ransacked everything took some belongings. Some expensive valuables."
The man said he didn't stay in his hom that night because of the manhunt. When police allowed him to return Thursday morning he said he heard strange noises inside his home.
"There were people inside my home while I was outside trying to get in this morning," he said. "They were in the home at the time."
The homeowner said he backed off and called 911. Authorities arrived minutes later, but the people inside had already taken off.
"The man thing about this situation that I'm thankful for there was no blood no bodies that I had to come to laying on our floors," the homeowner said. "None of our kids got killed or nothing."
He said a Wii, laptop, television and other items were missing from the home.
"I felt very violated it really gets under my skin," the homeowner said. "But it's material stuff there's nobody that's dead or hospitalized. I'm thankful for that."
