Just ten days after Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the Northeast a winter storm is drenching those same communities with rain and snow.

Waves lashed out on beaches nearly washed away in last week's super storm, leading to new fears of flooding.

People are seeking shelter once again. Even as crews rushed to problematic power lines, hundreds of thousands just getting their lights back on are back in the dark.

For others who never had their power restored the cold weather is miserable.

The storm is forcing airlines to cancel more than a thousand flights and leading to accidents on the roads.

Forecasters say conditions are going to dry up and warm up after the nor'easter passes.
