For months several Phillips 66 and Circle-K stations in the Albuquerque metro have been without gasoline.

Since September emails have been pouring into the KOB Eyewitness News 4 newsroom from frustrated viewers. But now the pumps are back on, and the gas is flowing once again.

The gas stations were temporarily closed after one of the operators by the name of PCF Saleco, who owns a number of stations in the area, was at the target of an involuntary bankruptcy petition.

"It was really frustrating and I thought maybe they were going under I didn't know what was happening," one driver said.

In a statement, Phillips 66 explained, "PCF Saleco and Sunstore LLC have developed an operating agreement in which Substore LLC will begin supplying the Albuquerque area stores with fuel."
