The Capitol Christmas tree is making its way toward New Mexico.

The tree was harvested from northern Colorado last week.

It will be displayed on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. for the holidays. The tree stops in various cities on its way to the Capitol.

Friday it was in Cortez and Durango, Colorado.

The tree will be in Albuquerque Nov. 13. The tree will be located at the National Guard Armory on Wyoming near Lomas.
