A man accused of loading up a truck with more than a hundred stolen propane tanks said he was going to get paid for driving them down to El Paso.

Albuquerque police stopped Juan Delgado, and a search of his pickup turned up stolen items worth almost $8,000.

A criminal complaint states police found propane tanks that had been taken from several Smith's stores, a log splitter from home depot and nearly two dozen bikes.

Delgado allegedly admitted to police he knew all the stuff in his truck was stolen, but was going to be paid $500 to drive it down to El Paso.
