Police investigating homicide in southeast Albuquerque

Albuquerque police are investigating a homicide in southeast Albuquerque.

Police say they discoverd a body on the ground with a gunshot wound. The body was found near Palomas and Anderson, in the San Mateo and Gibson area.

Authorities responded to another shooting in the same area, around the same time. The victim of the second shooting was taken to UNM Hospital with unknown injuries.

Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
