The Capitol Christmas tree is coming this way Tuesday

You can get a chance to see the 2012 U.S. Capitol Christmas tree Tuesday when makes a stop in Albuquerque on its way to the Capitol.

The "People's Tree" will arrive in Albuquerque at the New Mexico National Guard Armory at 600 Wyoming NE and will be on display from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

The 73-foot Engelmann spruce Christmas tree will be illuminated outside the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. this Christmas season.

It comes from the White River National Forest in Colorado.

Albuquerque is one of the many stops en route to the nation's capital.

The tree's journey began November 2nd and it will arrive in Washington, D.C. on November 26th.
