Albuquerque City Councilor Dan Lewis told KOB Eyewitness News that once the Paseo/I-25 interchange project begins it could take up to two years to complete.

The preliminary schedule calls for a design to be completed by December. The council will then call for bids in spring and summer of 2013.

Construction is scheduled to begin in late summer or early fall of 2013.
