Man suspected of DWI after car goes through home

A man is now facing DWI charges, his third offense, after the BMW police said he was driving rammed though a man's living room Friday night in Northeast Albuquerque.
The car was lodged inside the home upside down near San Pedro and Constitution on Arizona Street. Tony Maese was inside the home at the time but wasn't hurt.
Police documents indicate 24-year-old Benjamin Melloy was driving. Reports indicated he was found seated inside on the roof of the upside-down car.
Melloy said another car crashed into him before going airborne, according to the police reports.
The reports also indicated that Melloy admitted to having four to five drinks that evening. Documents also say Melloy believed his alcohol level was ".12, .24 and a .02." Police are waiting for blood alcohol test results.
Police documents also indicated Melloy had trouble reciting the alphabet and had bloodshot, watery eyes.
Police said another passenger, Tom Melloy, was found in the car with a large cut to his leg and other injuries. A woman was treated at the scene. Police said another male passenger ran from the scene.
