Arrest made after SWAT situation

The U.S. Marshals and Bernalillo County Sheriff’s SWAT Team executed a search warrant in search of Billy Ray Porter, 36.
Porter was being sought on multiple felony warrants from both Valencia and Sandoval Counties.
U.S. Marshals were able to track Porter to a residence on Los Arboles NE.
The last time Porter was arrested in Valencia County, he barricaded himself in a home and was taken into custody only after a lengthy standoff.
This time around, Porter again started to barricade himself in the residence but surrendered a short time later, after seeing that he was surrounded and the SWAT Team started pumping gas into the house.
No injuries were reported, no schools were placed in lockdown, and only side streets were shut down for a short period of time.
