High schoolers host Thanksgiving meal for seniors

Some Albuquerque senior citizens got to enjoy a nice Thanksgiving meal Thursday thanks to some local high schoolers.
The kids at Rio Grande High School hosted a Thanksgiving lunch. Approximately 150 seniors from nearby community centers were invited.
The students served the meals while the band and cheerleaders headed up the entertainment.
Organizers told KOB Eyewitness News 4 it's something the seniors look forward to every year.
