Horse owners can breathe a little sigh of relief Saturday night.

They can still board and train their horses at the state fairgrounds for a little more money.

The track closed on Thursday because three groups involved in pricing the stalls needed to agree on how much horse owners should have to pay to use the facilities.

They did come to an agreement; The new cost to rent a stall is $6 a day - up from $5.

The New Mexico Horsemen's Association said the track will stay open for 10 more days.

In that time if they get 150 stalls rented out they'll be able to continue at that price.
