AFD truck nearly hits injured pedestrian

Albuquerque police said a pedestrian is in critical condition after a vehicle hit him and then took off near the Flying J Truck Stop on 98th Street around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said an Albuquerque Fire Department truck responding to another call almost hit the man who was lying on the ground. Crews immediately helped the pedestrian. He was then taken to the hospital.
Police think the man was hit by a car because they found car parts on the road.
