Albuquerque police will be hitting the metro's malls on Black Friday, but they're not looking for deals - they're looking for thieves.

The department will have officers in uniform and undercover Friday morning.

Their big focus will be on parking lots.

Officers will have bait cars loaded with merchandise to attract thieves.

They'll also be looking out for your car checking to see if cars are left unlocked or with valuables in plain view. They'll leave a card on your windshield reminding you to be careful.
