A man was shot while smoking a cigarette outside an Albuquerque strip club early Saturday.

Albuquerque police said gunshots were fired around 3 a.m. outside Fantasy World, 500 Jefferson St. NE, after a confrontation between security guards and a group of men.

One of the men fired shots and hit another person who was not involved in the scuffle.

That man was transported to UNM Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests were made, and police are still trying to identify suspects.

In September, Albuquerque police said two security officers at Fantasy World were shot after escorting an unruly customer.

Richard Gallegos, 31, and Isaac Montoya, 33, were arrested in connection to that shooting.
