The last day for Coaches Sports Bar and Grill happened on Sunday and the fans of sports teams and the restaurant packed the place for one final time.
Owner Ernie Blackstone of Coaches opened the bar fifteen years ago, and the restaurant has been home to good food and fanatic sports fans since.
The owner did not go into why the restaurant was closing, but that he was not going to renew his lease and said he was moving on to other things.
The general consensus of customers was sadness on the final day.
"It's kinda a little bummer but recession is taking its toll on everybody, so I mean it's something that's gonna happen and we're gonna show our support for the last day," Chris Humbard said.
"I just have been enjoying this place for so long, it'll be weird with it gone," Chris Hannemann said.
The restaurant will close up Sunday evening after a classic rock concert with “Iron Chiwawa” in the restaurant from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
