An Albuquerque woman is hoping her husband's art can help save their home.

Kristen Wilson is facing foreclosure, so she decided to sell her husband's art to help with mortgage payments.

Wilson's husband Fred passed away earlier this year.

Fred Wilson was a sculptor and potter - but his real passion was teaching kids about art. He and his wife ran a studio out of their home, where they held workshops and classes.

But Fred's illness left them behind on mortgage payments. His widow is hoping the art sale will bring in $35,000 to keep the the home - and the studio up and running.

"Fred affected so many people and people are really responding and they want us to keep this wonderful home and be able to continue with the dream we had for KF Wilson teaching studios and memorial garden," said Kristen Wilson.

She says she'll continue the sale until Dec. 7 - when the money is due.

You can get information on the sale here.
