Officials from the U.S. Justice Department will hold a news conference at noon Tuesday to discuss a federal civil rights investigation into the Albuquerque Police Department.

APD officers have shot 23 men since 2010 - with 17 of those shootings being fatal.

Victims advocates and others have long asked the DOJ to investigate the shootings, and families of several of the victims have filed civil rights lawsuits against the city.

None of the officers involved in the shootings have faced criminal penalties or serious administrative penalties.

KOB will be at the news conference and will bring you developments as they happen.
