Bernalillo County commissioners approved a plan to let some inmates out of jail to ease overcrowding.
Under the measure, the county will buy an additional 500 ankle monitors and use them on low-risk inmates.
Those inmates will also have to undergo drug testing and counseling while they're out of jail.
