La Cueva's Bryce Alford and Eldorado's Cullen Neal will forever be linked as rivals and friends.  Their dad's have coached together for years and now lead the University of New Mexico basketball program.

The high school basketball season started Tuesday night.  Bryce dropped 46 on Cibola in a losing effort.  Cullen led the Eagles with 22 points in a win against West Mesa.  Neal is already one up on Alford after winning a state championship last season (and don't think Byrce forgets that fact).

The two will each put up monster numbers this year in the scoring column and will square off a few times against each other too.

We'll be watching... and keeping score.  I know they will too.
