Family alleges workplace bullying at state agency

A family gathered outside the offices of the state Public Regulation Commission in Santa Fe Friday.
They were protesting about the suicide of their loved one. The Prada family says their mother worked at the Commission for over 20 years, but that over the past two year they allege workplace bullying of Annette Prade became unbearable.
50-year-old Annette Prada was found dead Thursday in Cochiti Lake from what the family told KOB Eyewitness News 4 was a suicide.
The family says Prada was tormented at work by high ranking supervisors and believe that she was bullied into killing herself.
"She wanted to get through it through the help of Christ pero it didn't work that way because all these people were always against her and they just wouldn't let her in peace," Prada's father Ramon Roybal said.
The Commission sent out the following prepared statement on Prada's death: "The public regulation commission is shocked and saddened by this unfortunate event. We extend our deepest sympathies and support to those affected by this tragedy."
When asked about the allegations of bullying by supervisors, a spokesperson for the Commission said the agency had not received any formal complaints of bullying.
