Twinkle Light Parade rolls through Nob Hill

If you love the holidays, it was a great night to be in Nob Hill.

The Annual Twinkle Light Parade marched on Central Avenue between sidewalks filled with New Mexicans ready to celebrate the holidays.

The parade route moved from Washington Street, east to Girard Boulevard just before the University of New Mexico.

Traditionally the parade was held in Albuquerque's Old Town.

In September, city leaders said the parade was moved mainly because of the relationship it has developed with the community group, Nob Hill Main Street.

The two have worked closely on the Route 66 Summerfest and Nob Hill Holiday Shop and Stroll.
