20th anniversary for the text message

Monday will mark a special day in the world of text messaging.
It will be the 20th anniversary of the first text message sent to a mobile phone.
British engineer Neil Papworth did the honors when he was 22 years old.
He sent the message "Merry Christmas" from his computer to his friend's Orbitel 901 mobile phone.
That first text was sent back on Dec. 3, 1992 .
