A former assistant attorney general, convicted of child porn in Maine, has been captured in Albuquerque.

U.S. Marshals arrested James Cameron Sunday after he was spotted entering a store at Coors and Montano.

Marshals say Cameron fled the state of Maine a couple of weeks ago. There was no word why he was in New Mexico.

Cameron had just been let out of federal prison and put on court ordered monitoring while he appealed his conviction.
