LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - The New Mexico State University Board of Regents is set to hold its last listening sessions across the state this week to seek input on the school's presidential search.

The regents' final session is slated for Friday in Las Cruces in the Corbett Center Student Union Colfax Room. The session also will be webcast.

Former NMSU President Barbara Couture abruptly stepped down last month following a mysteriously administrative leave. The school's executive vice president and provost Wendy Wilkins also stepped down. Board chairman Mike Cheney said regents hope to announce a new president before the end of the spring semester.
