Albuquerque's zoo has welcomed its third new animal in the last three weeks, but you may not get to see it for a while.

Luke is a one and a half year-old Queensland koala. He came from Los Angeles Monday night.

The Albuquerque Zoo already has an 18-year-old koala named Zaki.

the two koalas are different species and cannot be diplayed together, so Luke will be kept behind the scenes until Zaki passes away.

Koalas can live up to 20 years.

The zoo received a Chinese alligator last week and a baby rhino two weeks ago.
