Insurance company issues warning

Nationwide Insurance officials say more than 8,000 New Mexico customers could have fallen victim to a hacker.

Nationwide says the hacker may have gotten social security numbers, drivers license numbers and birth dates of many of its customers.

As a precaution, the company is offering  free credit monitoring and identity theft services.
