A deal that could pave the way for a test city to be built near Deming has been given the go ahead.

Pegasus Global Holdings is looking for a place to build a 15-square mile city in which no one would actually live.

It would be used to test new technology like self-driving cars.

Our news partners at the Deming Headlight reports that Luna County commissioners have unanimously approved an economic development agreement for the project.

The agreement will allow the county to enter in negotiations with Pegasus.
