Albuquerque Public School officials are taking precautions after an anonymous threat was posted on Facebook.
"We are aware of the fact that someone posted an anonymous message on Facebook saying there could be school shootings on 12-12-12," Monica Armenta of APS said.

In response, Armenta said schools will have extra security on Wednesday.

The district has already alerted Albuquerque police as well as APS police.

Armenta said that's as much as they can do right now because the message was anonymous.
