Roswell police investigating shooting death of man, 19

Detectives from the Roswell Police Department are actively investigating a homicide early Thursday in which a 19-year old man was shot and killed.
Police say Xavier Herrera, 19, was shot around 1 a.m. Thursday at Cherry Street and Orchard Street.
Roswell police did not release any more information, citing a pending investigation.
Police are soliciting the public’s assistance and say if anyone has information regarding the homicide of Xavier Herrera, they should contact the RPD (575-624-6770), or Crime Stoppers (1-888-594-8477) immediately.
